2009 North American County Board Finals Information

The North American County Board Finals will be hosted by the Boston GAA division. The finals will take place from September 4 - September 6, 2009 at the Irish Cultural Center, 200 New Boston Drive, Canton MA. This will be a great display of Gaelic hurling and football for both men and women.

We are honored and proud to have the Artane Band attend our finals this year, the Artane band plays at our very prestigious All-Ireland Finals every year. Our games this year will be opened Friday morning at 9 am by the great Artane Band from Ireland.

The hotel this year is the Sheraton Braintree Hotel, 37 Forbes Road, Braintree, MA 02081, room rates are $133 plus tax per night. All teams are required to fill out the reservation form and email or fax it back to Daniel Chan at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Upon receipt of the reservation form, you will be given a block of rooms with a code and you can call the reservation number with your rooming list - no room will be booked without a credit card.

All divisions and clubs are required to stay at the designated hotel - no exceptions

We will provide bus service to and from the airport to the hotel if there is enough people on the buses - you must fill out the form and send it to me Sharon O' Brien at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it no later than August 7, 2009. The logan express to Braintree is also a great option for you to travel to and from the hotel. Logan Express Braintree is located around the corner from the Sheraton Hotel and if you call the hotel in advance they will provide a shuttle service to and from Logan Express terminal. The cost of the bus is $20 (to and from hotel to airport and to and from hotel to ICC fields) or $10 (to and from hotel to ICC fields only) you must have a bus pass to avail of this service.
